Our Mission
The mission of Transitional Conferencing is to assist incarcerated men and women and their families in their ability to communicate effectively as they plan for and experience transition back into family life and the community.
This is accomplished by:
- assisting individuals and families in taking responsibility for identifying and setting realistic goals as they create plans for reintegration.
- providing a safe and supportive environment for conferencing to take place.
- empowering the participants to recognize their own inner resources to facilitate the transition.
